Avionte Bold currently merges applications instantly if the same email address is used when applying. This can cause a liability when it comes to merging employee confidential information, financial information such has W2, direct deposit information, and incorrect reporting to the state and federal government. Also Avionte Bold shouldn't allow to duplicate SSN.
Thank you for your request to add the SSN to be a part of your configured duplicate checking process within applications. As you are aware the applicant merging occurs when a duplicate is identified to ensure you are not getting duplicate applicants in your database. While email addresses should typically belong to an individual we understand there are situations where individuals choose to share emails. In our June release we released the ability to add the full SSN or a portion of the SSN to strengthen the duplicate checking process. This ensures that your organization can setup your duplicate checking to include different SSN options based on your preference. We are also looking more into a feature that can be enabled to support a Talent verification process. This would require a Talent to verify themselves based off of the email provided and ensure an email per individual is being collected. We will let you know once we make more progress on this.
